Mixed feelings about this
The surroundings are perfect for fishing enthusiasts with knowledgeable staff. The clean and comfy room made my stay enjoyable, and the store offered everything a fisherman could need.
The outdoor decking could use repairs for safety. It's best to plan early since there are only a few rooms available.

Great place for laid-back nature lovers
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was like stepping into my own private retreat. The staff was super friendly, and they even had a little fly shop with everything you need to catch the big one. One evening, I sat outside, sipped a cold beer, and watched the sunset-perfect end to a day of fishing.
It wasn’t cheap, but given the experience it was still acceptable.

A Nature Lover's Paradise
I had a wonderful stay for 2 nights in a Queen Room. The location was stunning, surrounded by the beauty of rural Montana—perfect for a fishing trip! The room was clean and comfortable with excellent services at the on-site store, which had everything a fisherman might need. I do wish there were more dining options in the immediate area, but overall, I can't wait to return!

The fishing trip was a blast, especially with the clean, comfy queen room and the well-stocked fly shop on-site. I really appreciated how I could kick back with a cold drink after a long day out on the water or unwind in the charming atmosphere of the motel. We did run into a little electricity issue our first night, but it was quickly sorted out and didn’t put a damper on things at all. 😊

Rock Creek Mercantile & Motel nailed it with a gourmet food truck in the lot serving up some killer breakfast! The vibe was chill, beds comfy, and the whole area was as clean as a whistle. Plus, the scenery was a real showstopper with plenty of fly fishermen around to boot!
On the flip side, we faced a little hiccup with no water or electricity due to a freak storm. Also, bugs in the bathroom might freak some folks out—just a nature thing!
